Mike Hilde
Partner / Director of Sales
Mike is on the front line working with new and existing dealers and customers. With almost 20 years in sales he has a passion for working with customers on finding the correct product that fits their lifestyle. “It’s like a puzzle! You never know which piece fits with each person until you ask the questions and listen to their needs.” When Mike isn’t working you can typically find him spending time with his wife and daughter, on the ice trying to catch some fish, swinging golf clubs on the course, or flying airplanes. Mike has a passion for ice fishing and is a vital part in designing new products for Ambush to offer its customers!
Tim Hilde
Partner / CEO
Tim has many years of entrepreneurial business experience. His passion for developing businesses and growth keeps Ambush moving forward. Open water, or on the ice, you can find Tim fishing all year long with his wife, Lynn. As a pilot, Tim enjoys flying as well as golfing, reading, yard work and home projects. Tim’s values come from his faith in God. These values play out in the high quality outdoor products Ambush provides and a company that people can trust and rely on.
Lynn Hilde
Partner / Office Manager
Lynn has been instrumental in all the details that keep a business running for the last four decades right by Tim’s side. You want to talk about the oil that keeps the machine running… that’s Lynn! She is responsible for all the daily office tasks with paperwork, personnel, communication, etc. and typically has a very full plate. Lynn also has a passion for fishing. It doesn’t matter if it’s one hundred degrees or negative twenty she wants to get tight lines on the water! If she isn’t fishing or working she’s typically in her garden, on a long walk, or golfing with the ladies. If you walk in Ambush and see Lynn up front be sure to say hi. She is always smiling and a joy at Ambush!
Kevin Hemingway
Purchasing Agent
Kevin joined the Ambush team in November 2021. Outside of work, you’ll often find him behind the wheel competing in NHRA Stock Eliminator drag racing events. During the summer, his weekends are spent traveling to races across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, and Illinois with his dog Jasper. Kevin also enjoys chasing fish both on hard water and open water whenever time allows. He is becoming a premium cigar connoisseur and enjoys exploring new blends and discovering the unique flavor notes each one offers. Whether it’s racing, fishing, or relaxing with a fine cigar, Kevin brings the same attention to detail and passion that he brings to his work with the Ambush team.
David Brainard
Engineer
David plays a key role in creating solutions that serve Ambush customers. He loves to design and engineer products with an emphasis on simplicity and quality. When he’s not working on the next big idea, David finds his greatest joy spending time with God and his family—his wife and six children. He serves as the worship leader at his church and enjoys quiet moments in the outdoors at their home in the woods near Osage, MN. In his free time, David enjoys ice fishing, golfing, playing guitar, and smoking meat on the Traeger. His love for engineering and the outdoors makes him a natural fit for the Ambush team.
Adam Nystuen
Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager at Ambush, Adam plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When he’s not managing day-to-day operations, you’ll likely find him enjoying life on his 160-acre hobby farm with his two kids, Trysten (17) and Lily (15). Whether it’s ice fishing, open water fishing, hunting, kayaking, or riding side-by-sides through the trails, he’s always up for an outdoor adventure. He also has a passion for repairing old tractors, raising chickens, snowmobiling, and working on projects around the farm. Adam is a great asset to our Ambush team.
